
Mukangu Boys’ Senior School is a Public Extra County Boys’ Boarding Senior School located in Kirinyaga West Sub-county, Kirinyaga County, Kenya. It was officially registered in 1972 and is sponsored by the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (P.C.E.A) Mukangu Parish. It began as a mixed day secondary school but later phased out all girls because it was dominated by boys.
Mukangu Boys’ High School has grown over the years to a double-stream school with a population of about 400 students and sufficient modern facilities. It provides quality education and enhances discipline through teamwork and professionalism to produce all-round graduates. Thus, many graduates of the school have joined institutions of higher learning and the wiser community to participate in nation building.
Mukangu Boys’ High School is currently headed by Mr. Magondu J. Warui as the senior principal and Mr. Francis Nyamu as the deputy principal. It has a professional staff of 18 teachers who are dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential.
Mukangu Boys’ High School is located in a beautiful and serene rural environment about 15 minutes’ drive from Karatina town.
